At Shake a Paw, each one of our puppies is screened upon their arrival to our store. By checking each puppy for health and quality, we're able to offer our customers a lifetime health guarantee. After each puppy is screened, vaccinated, and micro-chipped, they are not kept behind glass like many pet stores. At Shake a Paw, our puppies are out and about where they are able to socialize with other puppies, with people, and receive the love that they need to grow up in the best way possible. Suffolk breeders got it right when they decided to keep entire litters of puppies together until they were an appropriate age to go home with a new family, and Shake a Paw has taken that idea, employed it, and expanded upon it.

Furthermore, Shake a Paw is family owned and operated. Our two locations (in Lynbrook and Hicksville) are not part of a corporate "chain" store, but are owned by one family and operated based on family values.
